Last Spring, my husband read about this hike in Arkansas, and since it wasn't far from his Uncle in Little Rock we decided to add it to our Road Trip Itinerary. It was well worth the side trip as you'll see below.
Location: Ozark National Forest, Arkansas
Distance: approx 2 miles r/t
Difficulty: Moderate because of the climb up on the return.
Getting There: Google Maps and Siri did a great job with directions on this one. Make sure you have them before you go because you will lose signal on the way there. From I-40 take the exit for US 64 towards Clarksville. (As you can see on the map there are 2 places to exit) You will then turn into AR-21 and travel north. AR-16 and AR-21 join and you will continue on 16/21 heading east. The trail isn't well marked from the road but you'll see a parking area across from a house on a hill. If you go past the Cassville Baptist Church you went too far.
